Conditions and investigations

From the first assessment of chest pain, breathlessness or palpitations to detailed cardiac imaging and long-term follow-up.

Private Heart Scan

A private heart scan is imaging that looks directly at the structure and function of the heart and its arteries.

Coronary Calcium Score

A coronary calcium score is a quick CT scan that measures the amount of calcified plaque in the walls of the coronary arteries.

Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring

Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring measures your blood pressure automatically at regular intervals (every 30 minutes) over a full day and night as you go about your normal routine.

Heart Failure Assessment

A heart failure assessment investigates whether the heart is struggling to pump blood effectively, which can cause breathlessness, tiredness and swelling of the ankles.

CT Coronary Angiogram

A CT coronary angiogram , often shortened to CTCA, is a detailed scan that shows the coronary arteries directly, without the tubes and wires used in a traditional invasive angiogram.

Private ECG

A private ECG , or electrocardiogram, is a quick, painless recording of the heart's electrical activity.

Clinical care informed by world-class research

Patients benefit directly from a practice grounded in the latest evidence. Professor Henein’s research on arterial calcification, echocardiography and heart function has shaped how cardiologists around the world assess the heart.
